By using my life as an example, I examine the representation of disabled people in 21st century Britain. Being disabled certainly has its fair share of disappointment, heartache and low moments. Yet it too isn’t without positivity, laughter and achievement. Come with me on a journey as I tell you about my life attempting to live in mainstream society and just like me you’ll be sure to laugh, cry and even maybe reflect on your own general perception of disability.
